The Lira is BFC's heat-exchanger machine: one copper boiler with an internal heat exchanger feeding each group, heavy brass group heads, heavy copper tubing and a brass rotary vane pump running quiet, consistent pressure. BFC builds it in one to four groups; we stock the two group in black, with electronic programmable dosing. It suits a medium to large café or restaurant that wants a straightforward, serviceable machine. The two group is also built as a semi-automatic with rocker switches, on request. The boiler, heat exchanger and all water-carrying parts are nickel plated; the steam wands are stainless; the hot water dispenser is nickel and chrome plated copper and brass; and the drip basin has a movable slider tray so tall to-go cups fit under the group.
