I copied this at once with transparent watercolor in a few hours.Commentary on the jacket by Yukimasa OkumuraI spent a lot of time with the members of YMO in the early days and was involved in a lot of related work around the group, and also spent quite a bit of time in the studio.Later, when YMO started to sell quite well, and people started to look for originality, I became fully involved as the art director.BGM was the first album jacket I designed for YMO.I came up with this image in order to create a strong impact with a concept that had no artist photo and was not connected to the previous YMO works.
