The Bialetti Moka Express is made in Italy and is constructed from food grade aluminum. It includes a sturdy stay cool nylon handle and knob and Bialetti’s patented safety valve. Moka pots produce a rich, authentic espresso and Bialetti’s distinctive eight-sided shape allows it to diffuse heat perfectly to enhance the aroma of your coffee. Moka pots are compact and easy-to-use, making them perfect to use at home or when travelling. To use the 12 or 18 Cup Moka Express with an induction stovetop, use a 20cm induction hob converter. The Bialetti Moka Express can be used with a gas, electric, or ceramic stovetop. It is NOT suitable for induction. To use the Moka Express with an induction stovetop, use a Bialetti Induction Hob Converter with your Moka pot. Before First Use: Before using the Moka Express for the first time, it’s a good idea to hand wash all the parts in hot water first. We recommended that you throw away the first 3 brews. It’s really important that you don’t use the handle while unscrewing the Moka pot, as this can cause the handle to break.
