Its bulbous shape has the subtle humor embodied in a lot of Johnston Marklee architecture, and its scalloped silhouette and bespoke tailoring give it a formality and timelessness akin to that of a Chesterfield sofa. Soft and supportive, the Biboni Sectional holds the body in a relaxed position. The deep seat welcomes a variety of sitting and lounging positions. Its voluptuous folds are precisely placed to envelop and embrace the sitter. Becomes even more animated as lighting conditions change, and shadows shift to reveal details in its form. Especially striking when seen in the round—floating away from the perimeter. Discreet inset feet add space between the sofa and floor, adding lightness to an otherwise substantial object.
