Big Al (University of Alabama Mascot) is made of Alabama clay and measures approximately 7" high x 6" wide. Each piece of work is formed by the artist from Alabama clay that is sha ped into unique handmade art that is as varied as the clay it came from. Coloring of off-white and orange brown swirls distinguish each piece from the other. These are the works of Karen Stewart, daughter of Carl Stephens, who originally founded Carl’s Clays.
