Big Daisy Scalloped like a wild daisy in the breeze, this piece is grounded in warm earth tones and designed to bring the outdoors in. I chose a brown stoneware clay for its rich, organic character — its natural speckles mirror the irregular beauty of nature. The textured surface, shaped gently with my fingertips, adds depth and a touch of rustic charm. The exterior is left unglazed to celebrate the raw clay, while the interior is finished in a soft white glaze. Bold brushstrokes add a sense of movement and individuality to the piece. When displayed indoors, I imagine it evoking a blooming garden — filled with soft petals, fresh air, and quiet elegance — bringing the calm presence of nature into the home.
