One wire ends with a clip that connects to the cooking grid, allowing the device to measure the ambient temperature inside the Egg. The other ends with a probe for inserting into your meat so you can finish cooking when it reaches the ideal temperature of your choice. The device contains a small but efficient fan. When the EGG Genius detects that the temperature needs to be increased, the fan automatically sends extra air flow into the Egg to stoke the flames, and stops the airflow when the temperature needs to be decreased. Once finished cooking, you'll receive a notification; the EGG Genius will keep your food warm without overcooking. In the case of a power outage or disconnection, the unit continues running at the saved temperature until the WiFi reconnects.
