Bib Red is a rounded, full-bodied form with an asymmetrical rim in a reddish-brown, unglazed clay. The piece holds both warmth and intensity. The generous body suggests containment , while the jagged edge evokes transformation. The exterior crack shown in the photo does not go through the vessel and is considered a character feature consistent with organic clay art. Hand-built with red stoneware coils, unglazed. The interior is glazed clear. Watertight. Measures approximately 16.5”W x 15.5”L x 9.5”H, 17 pounds. See also Earthroot. All my pieces are handmade.
