The handle is CNC-machined from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminu m where we cut out a channel to slide the piece of tire in. The actual tire tread is 15 inches long overall (about 13 inches of tread sticking out past the handle), which should be long enough for the slapper to leave its mark when it wraps around.
