Our bike packing course covers bag and bike setup, essential gear, and tips for enjoying your trip. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, join us to prepare for your next adventure. Bag and Bike Setup: We will cover how to properly load your bike with gear, including which bags to use and how to secure them to your bike. We will also go over bike fit and adjustments to ensure a comfortable ride. Essential Gear: We will discuss the necessary gear for a successful bikepacking trip, such as a tent, sleeping bag, stove, water filtration system, and more. We will also cover how to pack efficiently to save space and weight. Trip Planning: We will provide tips for planning your route, finding campsites, and navigating on the trail. We will also discuss how to prepare for unexpected situations and emergencies. Enjoying Your Trip: We will share tips for making the most of your bikepacking adventure, including how to pace yourself, how to appreciate the scenery, and how to stay motivated during challenging moments. Beginner and Seasoned Pro-Friendly: Our course is designed to accommodate riders of all skill levels, from those who are new to bikepacking to experienced riders looking to refine their skills and techniques. We welcome everyone to join us for an educational and enjoyable experience. This is a hands-on learning course, from our knowledge and experience. Lessons are 1 hour in duration. Numbers are limited to ensure you get the best from them. Courses are held at two of our locations, Papanui & Rangiora. Saturday courses start at 9:00 am, Sunday courses start at 10:15 am.
