Canadian designer, Philippe Malouin's Bilboquet is a playful, adaptable table lamp consisting of two colourful cylinders connected by a magnetic sphere. This sphere acts as a joint, allowing the diffuser and the lamp's body to connect, enabling the upper cylinder to float and rotate to direct light flow in all directions. Designed with millennials and Gen Z in mind, Designer Malouin highlights the importance of flexibility and creative communities in the lamp's development. Inspired by a French game that originated in the 16th century, from which the designer derived its name.
