Bill Curry (1927-1971) founder of Design Line Inc., designed this Columnlite with a heavy iron base and corrugated plastic shade. Bill Curry was an American designer and a graduate of the Los Angeles Art Center. In 1962, Curry founded the home furnishings company Design Line, Inc. which was based in El Segundo, California.
