Cut out along spine Description Release details Tracklist Warning is an LP by Billy Cobham from 1985 released on the GRP label. About this album Warning is a muscular mid-1980s statement from Billy Cobham, balancing post-bop detail with the propulsion and electric bite that made him a fusion landmark. Released in 1985, the album finds the drummer-composer pushing beyond pure virtuosity into tightly written ensemble jazz, with the rhythmic fire and precision that defined his best work. Cobham’s reputation was built in the 1970s with Mahavishnu Orchestra, Miles Davis and his own solo records, and Warning shows that same authority in a more streamlined setting. Pieces such as “Mozaik” and “Stratus” underline the album’s taut, high-energy approach.
