The combination of cleverly designed, colorful geometric shapes, unique rubber "Jummis" - or connectors (that make a great "popping" sound when pulled apart) - and bits of felt and string put children of all ages in charge of this simple yet wonderfully creative building block system. And since there are deliberately no instructions included, you are limited only by your imagination. ----- More to the Story ----- Kellner Steckfiguren Toys, featured in Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum, have entertained children and families alike in Europe for over eighty years. Each geometric building block, echoing Bim & Brumm's roots in the Bauhaus movement, is made from locally grown Beech wood that has each been colored with water-based paints. The patented "jummis" are made with food-grade rubber. The remaining embellishments are all made from natural materials including hemp, sisal and bits of felt.
