The topical ophthalmic form of this medicine is used for the treatment of inadequate amount of eyelashes (hypotrichosis); it increases their length, thickness, and darkness. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 16 years of age. Uses: Intraocular hypertension The ophthalmic form of this medicine is used for the treatment of patients suffering from intraocular hypertension; it reduces the fluid pressure inside the eyes. Open angle Glaucoma The ophthalmic form of this medicine is used to reduce fluid pressure inside the eyes of patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma, a condition characterized by progressive damage to the optic nerve that may eventually lead to vision loss. Hypotrichosis of the eyelashes The topical ophthalmic form of this medicine is used for the treatment of inadequate amount of eyelashes (hypotrichosis); it increases the length, thickness, and darkness of the eyelashes.
