About This Print: I took this photo from the top of the cliff at Bingin Beach in Uluwatu. At the time, this whole stretch was alive, with small restaurants tucked into the cliffside, surfers walking barefoot out of the ocean, and fresh fish grilling right on the beach. It felt like one of those places that would stay exactly as it was forever. Now, the entire cliff has been demolished. What was once a buzzing, soulful corner of Uluwatu is gone, replaced by rubble and construction debris. Standing there with my camera, I had no idea I was photographing a version of Bingin that would soon only exist in stories. - Bingin Beach, Uluwatu, Bali 2024 A Spark for the Soul -This photo is meant to be more than decor; it’s a doorway, reminding you that you’re capable of far more than you imagine.
