Ionna Vautrin - a local from Brittany on the Coast of France - was inspired by the world of the Sea. It was this inspiration that drove her to model the shape of the Foscarini Bini c Table Lamp after windsocks - a tube of cloth mounted on a pole to indicate the direction and strength of the wind on a boat. She named the Binic after a lighthouse in her hometown to integrate a singular seaside theme from design to designation.
