Dosage and administration Gently open the mouth and place the tip of the syringe on the back of the tongue, tilt head slightly up and allow to swallow. The syringe = 450kg horse, multiple syringes maybe required. Note: Plunger markings 0-100 = 10 g, 0-200 = 20g, 0-300 = 30g (half a syringe). NEWBORN FOALS (Less than 24 hours) FOALS Prevention of intestinal dysfunction and antidiarrheal preparation for mild diarrhoea: Administer half a syringe (300 marker) 2-3 times daily or as directed by your veterinarian. ADULT HORSES (450kg horse) Prevention of intestinal dysfunction and antidiarrheal preparation for mild diarrhoea: Administer 2 x syringes morning and 2 x syringes at night or as directed by your veterinarian.
