This makes the subject you'd like to focus is in focus and the background is blurry. When the Iris is closed, less light is let in and the produced image has a deeper depth of field, and has all details in focus. The Iris diaphragm allows users to change the reflection and the intensity of the light, allowing students to view the top and bottom of the specimen?and get a better microscopic image by using the objective 40x and 100x.
