The Bioprotec Codling Moth Trap is specially designed to capture the codling moth (Cydia pomonella), one of the most common pests in apple and pear orchards. This trap uses a shell or bag in combination with a pheromone lure (sold separately) to effectively monitor and control moth populations without chemicals. Uses Install 1 trap per tree or every 5–10 m in orchards, beginning in early spring when moths first fly. Insert a specific pheromone lure (sold separately) inside the trap. Hang at foliage height in a location protected from rain. Check traps daily and replace the collection bag/shell when full, or at least once per season.
