The material is treated with a hypoallergenic non-slip finish on the inside of the material to effectively hold it in place. The low-profile design is well suited for use inside normal footwear. The Weil Osteotomy Strap helps prevent dorsal drift and floating toes by splinting the toe in a neutral or plantar-flexed position. The Hallux Control Strap may be used post-bunionectomy to maintain the hallux in a neutral position during critical soft tissue healing.
