Heat Transfer Vinyl Notes: HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) is a durable vinyl material that is heat-pressed directly onto the nameplate, collar, or leash with your pet’s name or information. HTV is considered semi-permanent. This means it should hold up for a long time with normal use, but like any surface-applied material, it may gradually show signs of wear with frequent use, rubbing, or exposure to the elements. For the longest-lasting finish, we recommend keeping the collar as dry as possible and avoiding rubbing against rough surfaces, scratching, chewing, and use in extreme conditions. Should the HTV wear off, the nameplate can usually be replaced for a small fee plus shipping as long as the collar or leash is in good condition. Contact seller for details. With some colors of BioThane® there might be a shiny texture around the vinyl due to the heat transfer. This does not impact the durability of the material.
