This leash is perfect for training, quick potty breaks, traveling or if you need a slip leash that works for dogs of very different sizes. Our Slip Leads come in multiple sizes and styles. It can be built in a 4', 5', 6' and 8' version and with a D-ring as the slip mechanism (slightly more stiff) or an O-ring (more loose and adjustable). For pup parents who will primarily use the leash with dogs of similar sizes with a dog that's not a puller (think potty breaks, travel, etc.) we would recommend the D-ring because it holds its place enough to not loosen significantly when walking on a loose leash. For people that intend to use the Slip Lead for dogs of varying sizes, for mindful training or that want additional control and will be handling a dog that is likely to pull or use pressure, we would recommend an O-ring style BioThane Slip Lead. Our Slip Leads come with a stopper on the leash side that is fully adjustable to help the leash not get too loose when the dog is walking without resistance. We also offer a Limited Slip Lead version if you share your pup's exact neck size (the smallest that the lead will adjust to) and upgrade to the Limited Slip version. Please not that our Slip Leads are made with 3/4" BioThane which is a wider alternative to rope Slip Leads so they will not offer the higher intensity of a thin rope, prong collar, etc.. Our BioThane Slip Leashes have a break strength of up to 600 lbs and are an ideal and safe tool for training when used correctly.
