Birch Bark

Our Birch Bark comes from the sweet birch tree, not the more familiar paper birch. This variety has a sweet, slightly wintergreen-type flavour that lends itself well to birch beer, birch syrup and other confections. This dried bark is great for infusing in teas and other drinks. We use it in our 9-Spice Root Beer Kit. The Silk Road’s line of botanical roots and herbs is meant for flavouring infusions such as bitters, root beers, teas, syrups, and other similar things.
