Cone 6: (1st image) Birch is a creamy opaque off-white glaze that breaks brown. Cone 10: (2nd image) Cream color remains and brown undertones darken. TIP: The thinner the the appli cation, the more amber the glaze will be. The thicker the application, the more white floating you will get. Stoneware classic glazes offer the depth, sophistication and reliability to artists working from mid-range to high-fire temperatures. Many glazes will break over textures, revealing secondary colors and shades. Used alone, stoneware glazes produce beautiful color variations. One coat will allow the clay body to show through the glaze and two to three coats deeper the color.
