From the artist Jordan of Tin Cup Design: This was inspired by a particular stand of birch trees on Skyline Parkway just above our house. On a walk one day, I stood and admired these trees, their colors I like so much and the big lake backdrop between their trunks. An ore boat came through and began threading in and out of the trees; an accidental weaver’s loom, right there before me.That’s why this one is called Birch Loom. The 11x14 is surrounded by a white border with the title and a signature nestled beneath. It is printed locally in Duluth on white, Lynx 100# cover. Jordan of Tin Cup Design is a Duluth, Minnesota illustrator, translating beauty into reflective collage art. It is her hope that the art she creates will connect us with beauty, which then connects us with gratitude and celebration.
