Birkenstock uses the term Waxy leather and Oiled leather interchangeably and may arrive marked as either. A natural variation in color can occur with oiled leathers. Raised toe bar is designed to encourage the natural gripping motion of your feet. The soft footbed features a foam layer inserted between the cork layer and suede liner. Microscopic air bubbles cushion your feet while providing moderate arch support. Anatomically correct footbed is crafted from 100% renewable and sustainable cork. Neutral heel profile and deep heel cup keeps your heel secure while distributing your body weight more evenly. EVA outsole offers lightweight, shock absorbing support. Heat Warning: Cork and EVA can be damaged by exposure to concentrated heat. Do not leave in direct sunlight or in hot cars. If footwear becomes wet, allow to air dry. Do not apply direct heat.
