Bison Home was founded in 1997 by Creative Director Brian Tunks with the aim to create beautiful, yet functional, pieces for the home. Over the years, Bison products have become Australian design classics and are a staple item in many homes around the world. To produce them, artisans draw on knowledge and inspiration which can be traced back over the millennia; they use the finest materials; and they produce pieces in a huge range of colours and textures. Bison Home proudly collaborates and produces with studios in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and India. All pieces in the collections are designed by Brian in Canberra. The shape of the Bison Home Small Fagel Pitchers are based on geese and their spouts reflect the indolent way they hold their heads as they walk. They are perfect for serving milk with tea, or gravy with a roast dinner but can also be used as a vase.
