About this design Few people realize the degree to which bison have shaped human history. Ancient people organized their societies around the movement and patterns of the bison. Their survival and the development of those societies was made possible by the abundant resources that bison provided. In modern times, we have forgotten this once-vital connection. All of my designs seek to reconnect us with the natural world, and this one holds a special place in my heart. Though it is simple, I believe it keeps alive an appreciation for the amazingly resilient bison, an American symbol and so much more.
