Product Description This mod for the Biteblades Titan balisong trainer replaces the stock spacers with a shatter-proof polyurethane. The Zippy spacers are shorter, bringing the Titan to a more traditional length (5.68"), include jimping, and have adjustable balance. Because the stock Titan is blade-biased, 4x removable tungsten weights per spacer are included to enable balance configurations from blade biased, neutral, and handle biased. This mod also optionally includes a blade insert which silences the ring. Features Shortens handle length from 5.9 in to 5.68 in, and rounds the ends of the handles for a more comfortable ergonomic. Protects your handles: These spacers are made from a shatter-proof polyurethane. Unlike the stock spacers, these spacers will not crack when dropped on hard surfaces. Adjustable balance: Each spacer houses up to 4x removable Tungsten weights which enables you to find the perfect balance to suit your preference. Positive jimping for extra grip on ladders. Silence the ring with the optional blade insert. The spacers each weigh 0.074 oz (empty) or up to 0.159 oz with all 4x weights installed. For comparison, the stock spacers each weigh 0.115 oz. The Zippy Blade Insert Mod adds 0.086 oz Recommendation Balance Configurations My overall preferred/optimal flipping configuration for the Titan is 3x weights per spacer and no blade insert. Additional info below: No blade insert: My preference is with 2-3x weights per spacer. 0-1x weights per spacer is blade biased. 2-3x weights per spacer is neutral, and 4x weights per spacer is lightly handle biased. The Titan weighs 4.039 oz with 2x weights per spacer, and 4.081 oz with 3x weights per spacer. For comparison, a stock Titan weighs 4.037 oz (Despite the similarity in weight, the stock Titan is more blade biased than with Zippy spacers with 2x weights per spacer due to the change in weight distribution). With blade insert: My preference when using the blade insert is with 4x weights per spacer, to balance out the extra weight of the blade insert. This configuration weighs 4.215 oz. For comparison, a stock Titan weighs 4.037 oz.
