The Talismano Viola/Blu is an anthropomorphic ceramic figure originally designed by Aldo Londi in 1959. Handcrafted in white clay, the form is stylised and compact, with incised linear patterns across the surface. It is finished in a dual glaze of bluette and violet, applied to enhance the sculptural texture and give the piece a luminous, almost talismanic presence. This work reflects Londi’s fascination with symbolism and his ability to imbue simple forms with expressive power. Reissued as part of the Riedizioni Archivio Storico collection, this edition is limited to 299 pieces. Each figure is handmade in Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy, and faithfully reproduces the original model preserved in the Bitossi Museum Archive.
