An invitation to escape, Bitter Splash charts a journey of exotic exploration. Cool, juicy pomelo and warm vegetal leather emerge as a sophisticated duality of freshness and sensua lity. A sumptuous voyage into Dries Van Noten’s love for orientalism, where additional notes of powdery iris and vetiver enhance this chic evocation of texture and light. The bottle marries the simplicity of glossy pop yellow glass with a decorative pattern inspired by the detailed art of Asian lacquer woodwork, suggesting a contrast between tradition and modernity. “I chose to explore a paradoxical yet balanced play of light and texture – the sparkling radiance of grapefruit veiled in the matte softness of leather.” — Suzy Le Helley, Perfumer Show more
