Also known as sablefish, black cod has a high oil content that makes for a rich and delicious fish that’s easy to get right in the kitchen. Despite the name, this Pacific native ha s no relation to Atlantic cod. Try a classic miso-marinated preparation, and you’ll be a convert. The rich, buttery taste combined with the sweet-salty marinade is perfect match. Sold in 16oz packs of skin-on fillet (approximately 2-3 pieces), vacuum-packed and super-frozen.
