The total sterols content of black cumin seed oil seems to be between 18 and 42%, while the major sterols identified were β-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol, and 5-avenasterol (2).All of the above components (Thymoquinone, Linoleic acid, Phytosterols) are known as outstanding compounds with important potential for applications related to human health support.
