Moosehide Leather #1 is a strong, supple leather with a smooth grain front, soft sueded back, and a naturally rugged feel. Thicker and more substantial than deerskin, it is well su ited for moccasins, bags, pouches, mitts, cuffs, regalia pieces, beadwork panels, appliqué, trim, and durable leather accessories. This cleaner grade is a good choice for larger panels, matching project pieces, and visible areas where makers want strength, softness, and good usable sections in the same hide.
