An elegant still pink wine created from grapes grown in our organically certified vineyard in the wilds of Herefordshire. From the centre of the field the Solaris and Cabernet Cortis benefit from early morning sunlight and the last rays in the evening before the sun disapears behind the rolling hills. 2024 was one of the toughest growing seasons I have experienced. This wine is a testament to continual hard work in the vineyard and never giving up when it felt like the outcome would be bleak! The Solaris grapes were picked in late September. At the winery they were crushed with 20% whole bunches retained and allow to start fermenting naturally in steel. After 10 days the wine was gently pressed and racked to old oak to finish fermentation. We picked the Cabernet Cortis in mid October after a severe frost ended the growing season. they were crushed, left on the skins for 48 hours and pressed. The juice was added into the Solaris straight away to allow a harmonious co-ferment. The wine then spent 10 months in barrel before racking and bottle in summer 2025 9.5% ABV FAQs How quickly will my wine arrive? Everything is packed and shipped by us. Instead we give the wine the time it needs to be stable and we're comfortable with a little sediment Is your wine organic? Our main vineyard in Turnastone, Herefordshire is certified organic through the soil association. Occasionally we buy in grapes for other vineyards this will be stated in the wines description above. Does your wine contain sulphites? We never add sulphites to our wines, however, a small amount do occur naturally during fermentation. This means that often our wines would be classified as sulphite free (below 10mg/l)
