Black PVD Titanium Threadless Star Top. This Threadless Top is with 25g durable Titanium Pin designed to be practical and easy to use. Fitting all sizes of pins and bases in our threadless body jewelry line. Pin Size: 0.45mm x 4.7mm. Made from implant-grade titanium Ti-6AL-4V-ELI ASTM F136 and coated with Titanium Nitride (TiN) using the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process. The PVD coating bonds at the atomic level to the titanium, creating a chemically inert and nickel-free surface that won’t flake, leach, or irritate the skin. The same technology is used in medical and aerospace applications for its safety and stability. Titanium Nitride forms an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant layer that becomes part of the metal itself — not just a surface coating. The result is a deep black finish that resists wear, fading, and corrosion for long-lasting beauty and performance.
