Our Shell Cordovan is a vegetable-tanned leather from Leder Ogawa (Shinki) in Japan. Shell Cordovan is famous for its gorgeous shine and unique crease-resisting property due to the density of the leather. It requires very little care and over time, develops a beautiful patina (more so on lighter colours). Shell Cordovan begins as a high-shine leather and over time becomes duller with wear. This shine can be replenished through the application of leather conditioner and brushing vigorously.
