Single step or double? A single step is the right pick when the gap between the ground and your doorway is on the smaller side, or when you're mounting fairly low to the ground. If your van sits high, or the climb to the door feels like a big stretch, a two-tier step splits that height into two easier stages. Check you've got roughly 540mm of width and a flat area under the door to bolt to, and make sure the open depth of 550mm gives you room to swing it out.
