These special handmade drawing stones are 30 grams each. They are made from natural pigments and can be combined with watercolor. The drawing stones work like soft pastels, allowin g for expansive, expressive mark making! Black Slate is made with PBk 19. The drawn mark can be worked into and blended with our gum arabic water-based binding medium. Try also our new Fabriano paper packs with pastel primer. The a mild toothy support of a pumice coating is perfect for mixed technique and available in white or mixed colors. Available in over 20 colors! The stones can also be split into small pieces to gain sharper edges/points for more detailed work. All colours are made with pigments from natural earth, mineral, plant or insect origin and offer a unique departure point for the creation of new and intuitive artworks.
