Smaller, sweeter, with a thinner skin than Medjool Dates, Black Sphinx Dates are only found in Arizona, primarily in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. Black Sphinx have been identified as an Ark of Taste food by Slow Food USA. The Ark of Taste program includes over 200 delicious foods that are at risk of extinction.
