The Spike Pants were created based on historical research about a niche 16th-century military group known as the ‘Landsknechte’. From a fashion perspective, the Landsknechte were k nown for their eyecatching and colorful uniforms, they dressed in loose striped pants, large sleeves and loud colours. The reason behind their attention seeking look was a desire to “die with a bang.” Most Landsknechte faced death in combat, and they wanted to look their absolute best when they did.
