In researching this fly there is very little information as to its origins, however, it is a highlight fly for Tasmanian fly fishing. Well documented for use in the Highland Lakes and also the lowland Tasmanian rivers. The hatches commence in October and continue on through the following months. Comments from most of the Tassie guides say this is a must have fly for Tasmania. The Australian mainland rivers also have a hatch of these in October. Show more
