Black-Tail Jack Rabbits are grayish-brown in color, have long arms and large hind feet, large black-tipped ears, and a black streak on the top of their tail. They are nocturnal, usually feeding at night on herbs, tree bark, & vegetables and do not burrow, but may dig shallow pits to rest. In order to escape from predators, they rely on their fast running. This young bunny is hopping its way through the woods and into your home.
