Black Antique Trunk Handle Cap, Star Design – OBG-13BKThin stamped steel trunk handle end cap with black powder coated finish, star design matching original trunk hardware. Two are needed per handle. Overall size is 2 inches by 2-1/4 inches. Inside dimensions are 1-3/8 inch by 1-1/8 inch wide by 1/4 inch deep, accommodating handles up to 1/4 inch thick. The cap is primarily decorative, covering the nails that hold the leather strap. Nail the handle to the trunk with the nail near the straight edge of the cap, under the dimple, to keep the cap from being pried up during use.
