Made from a highly figured black walnut live edge slab over 2" thick, this piece is a true example of timeless design. "Curl" in the wood gives a wavy and almost 3D effect. Jet bla ck epoxy fills the large crack on one end, both to stabilize the crack and provide additional appeal. The final touch is 4 hand laid walnut bowties. While the epoxy is more than strong enough to stabilize the crack on its own, the bowties add artistic effect and a unique design feature. The modern metal legs comes with adjustable leveling feet, and is attached to the underside of the table with threaded inserts and furniture bolts.
