First, find the larger half circle on the edge of the tool and wedge it between where the plastic and glass meet at the opening of the bottle. Work the rollerball up and out. Do not remove the ball from the plastic housing. Refill the buddy and put the rollerball back on top. Use the biggest circle on the tool to push the rollerball back into the bottle.
