Our Ribes nigrum Ben Sarek is a compact, deciduous shrub that bears gorgeous foliage, lovely flowers and tasty, edible fruit. Pale green flowers will bloom in Spring, growing alongside and contrasting well against the plants dark green foliage. Delicious fruit then harvests in Summer, providing an abundance of Blackcurrants to include in a variety of meals. They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
