The name is a quiet nod to Casablanca — the white house — and there's something of that in the color itself: whitewashed walls holding light long after the sun has moved on. Blanca sits at the coolest end of our neutral palette, closer to old porcelain than to any flat, manufactured white. Up close, each tile shifts a half-shade from milk to bone, and the gentle irregularity of every hand-cut edge is what gives a Blanca wall its depth. Sold as individual tiles rather than mounted sheets, Blanca 4×4 is the classic zellige field format — suited to kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, hammam-style showers, and fireplace surrounds where a soft, quiet white is the goal. Nine tiles make up one square foot. It pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, warm oak, and honed travertine. As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone, texture, and edge shape from tile to tile is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw.
