Honestly, nearly everything about BlankBottle and the broad, brilliant wines they make are pretty wild. Though all his wines contain a pureness and quality (and as you get to know him, a real Pieter-ness), the lack of a coherent link tying his wines together could be thought of as a shortfall. But in his case, this is his superpower. Unbound by marketing strategy, branding or the desire to produce a 'classic style' means his range is superbly interesting and oozes class.
